Visit Lakes in Pokhara

Pokhara is a city of lake. There are more than half dozen lakes in Pokhara. The Phewa Lake, having area of around 4 sq.km, is the central attraction in Pokhara. Hundreds of wooden boats are available in rent around lake side to enjoy this fabulous lake trip. Some others lakes worth to visits are Begnas and Rupa lake.

 Visit Davi’s Fall

The water fall which swept away a Swiss lady Davi in 31st July 1961 is popularly known as Davi’s fall. It provides a perfect view of water falls in the deep rocky gorge especially in summer season.

Visit International Mountain Museum

International Mountain Museum is situated about five kilometers south from Lakeside. It offers the unique view of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu which are three lofty peaks above eight thousand meter from sea level. Information on mountains, its cultures, environments, geography, and mountain history are profoundly displayed in this museum.

Visit World Peace Pagoda

It is a massive Buddhist stupa built with the help of Nipponzan Myohoji (Japanese Buddhist Community) located on a hill top just Southern hill of Phewa Lake. It provides the full scale scenery of the breathtaking view of Annapurna ranges, lakes and the whole Pokhara city. It takes an hour hiking if you go from lakeside by boat. Otherwise you can walk from Chhore Patan side. There is another option available to visit this place driving close to the place on foot 10 minute to stupa.

Visit Tashi Ling Tibetan Refugee Camp

Tashi Ling Tibetan Refugee Camp is situated in Chhorepatan. The Tibetan monastery, curio shops, handmade carpet factory and carpet display hall are major attraction of this Refugee Camp.
