Annapurna region is lying almost 40 km directly north of Pokhara.It is an oval shaped plateau which sits at an altitude of over 4000 metres. It is surrounded by a ring of mountains,the Annapurna range most of which are over 7000 metres. The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular, best and classical trekking route in Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp treks combines some of the most fantastic mountain scenery passing through cascading waterfalls, forest, village in Annapurna region. The trail takes us through an ever- changing landscape of rice fields, misty forests and lowland local villages to the glacier. Annapurna Base Camp Treks offers a fine opportunity to surround oneself with Himalayan Peaks specially witnessing the glacier basin of Annapurna Sanctuary formed by Annapurna, Machhapurchre (Fishtail, Himchuli, and Manaslu).
Annapurna Base Camp can be approached by at least three different routes .Here one is described as Firstly we will reach to Nayapul. Then Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrung, Deurali and lastly to Annapurna base camp.
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4264ft)
Day 02 : Drive to Pokhara (900 m) by tourist bus - 7 hrs
Day 03 : Drive to Nayapul (1,010m) - 1 hr. Trek to Tikhedunga (1,570m) - 3 hrs
Day 04 : Trek to Ghorepani (2,840m) - 5 hrs
Day 05 : Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m); and trek to Tadapani (2,610m)
Day 06 : Trek to Chommrong (2,140m) - 5 hrs
Day 07 : Trek to Himalayan (2,950m) - 6 hrs
Day 08 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) - 7 hrs
Day 09 : Trek back to Bamboo (2345m) - 6 hrs
Day 10 : Day 10 - Trek to Jhinu hot spring (1,780m) - 5 hrs

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4264ft)Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying an Himalaya Chyangpa Treks & Expedition pvt. signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.
Day 02Drive to Pokhara (900 m) by tourist bus - 7 hrsOur trekking staff will pick you up at the hotel 6:45 am and escort you to the bus station. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7:30 am. A beautiful valley set on the banks of the Phewa Lake, Pokhara is also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu, hence providing the perfect starting point for our trek. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 03Drive to Nayapul (1,010m) - 1 hr. Trek to Tikhedunga (1,570m) - 3 hrs We begin our trek at Nayapul after a 1/2 and half hour drive on a private vehicle from Pokhara. After a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015m) a large village with many shops and teahouses. we will entry our trekking permits and tims card in Birethanthi. after check point the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495m and after a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1,570m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 04Trek to Ghorepani (2,840m) - 5 hrsWe move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at an altitude of 2,070m. The trail ascends more gently from this point, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti at 2,250m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2,460m . After an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2,840m). Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 05 Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m); and trek to Tadapani (2,610m)Today, very early in the morning, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210m, a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour, then returning to Ghorepani we take a hot breakfast at a hotel. Then we make a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turning off to Tadapani. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 06Trek to Chommrong (2,140m) - 5 hrsWe starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, we descend through the forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chommrong at an elevation of 2,140 m. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 07 Trek to Himalayan (2,950m) - 6 hrsToday the trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola and again we continue climbing to Khuldighar at 2,380m where there used to be an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) check post. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from which, the route travels very steeply down a rock bank then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We walk through bamboo, then rhododendron forests to the Himalayan Hotel. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 08 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) - 7 hrsToday the trail climbs on past the Hinko Cave, Deurali and then Machhapuchhare Base Camp, which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Two hours trek from Machhapuchhare Base Camp takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at elevation of 4,130m. There, you will view unobstructed views of mountain scenery, which is very spectacular. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 09Trek back to Bamboo (2345m) - 6 hrsWe follow the same trail down today the trail drops by 1,700 mtr to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo at 2,345 mtr where there are a few tea-house/ lodges available to stay at. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 10 Day 10 - Trek to Jhinu hot spring (1,780m) - 5 hrsWe follow the same trail until Chommrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar there is an experimental sheep farm, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From Chomrong the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu hot spring, where you can bathe in natural hot springs. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 11 Trek to Nayapul (1,010 m) - 4.5 hrs. Drive to Pokhara .From Jhinu hot springs we walk at the right side of Modi Khola for 4.5 hrs to Birethanti which can be considered one of the best and the most relaxing walks of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul then an hour drive will take us back to Pokhara.
After we check in to hotel we will then walk to the Fewa Lake for our boating trip to Barahi Temple and than back to hotel. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 12Day 12 - Drive back to Kathmandu (1,345m) You have the option to extend your trip to continue onto Chitwan jungle safari, rafting adventure, Kathmandu valley shopping tour, scenic Everest flight, mountain biking and other activities. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13Relaxing Day Today is free day after mountain. just walk around Thamel or nearly your hotel to see some local things in Kathmandu. this is your final day for nepal so you can buy some present for your friends, and relatives it will be more fun and memorable your Nepal trip. 6:30 pm our one Representative staff will come your hotel for take a dinner party with Trekking team.
Day 14Day 13 - Transfer to international airport for your final departure The trip concludes today. Our Airport Representative will drop you at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal.
Best Season : Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and Spring (March to May) are the best seasons for trekking in the Annapurna region. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding views. If you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time with nature, then taking this trip during winter (Dec., Jan., Feb.) could also be an option. However, the temperature during winter could be harsh for most guests. Trekking in the summer or monsoon season(June to Aug) will be affected by rain but the summer trek could be a boon for a keen botanist.
Food & Accommodation : When you are in trekking in the Himalaya most important things are food and accommodation which you needed for compulsory for being fit your health . There are numbers of Tea Houses , lodges and restaurants on the way where you can find all kinds of drinks items, hygienic and organic local food product by local people.
some food they serve from packet also, which not recommended you to eat. Every restaurant has multi items of food so you can choose from your menu what you like at main course. Soup also available but you have to ask them before order your soup. We recommended you to take fresh vegetable soup rather than the soup from packet either it is vegetable or nonvegetable. All kinds of local food are better to eat for your health and it is good for grew economic in village and farmer also.
Culture & costom : Nepal is the country of multi-religious, culture, language, cast, of people. Different categories of people are leaving in different places. The different categories of people have their own identity, according to the different places they have their own culture, language, religious and cast so Nepal is rich in those beliefs. When you are traveling on the way you have to be sensitive and respectful about the religious and culture of that region. The people from the different place they have different believe you may not know. Please ask about the etiquette and culture of that region with the guide before you are going to next destinations. Please do not learn the Nepali language with anyone sometimes they teach you bad, comedy or rough word which is not accepted in the community. Always take off your shoes or leather item before you entrance to the temple. We recommended you to be well informed before you do something. Trekking Equipments List:
Before you start your trekking you should be well prepared all necessary equipment. Well, equipment is compulsory to save yourself. We give you the list of simple and compulsory equipment which is useful for your daily activities.
Warm clothes are compulsory for your trekking in Mountain which most cover minimum -25 degree. Like; jacket, trouser, had, gloves, neck cover, socks, thick t-shirt, slipping bag etc.
Sun Creams/Sun Glass:
Sun Cream is also compulsory to safe from sunlight on the mountain. Sunlight refraction from snow is harder it may harmful for your skin. Use good quality of cream which can protect you from sunlight. To protect from harder sun ray please don’t forget to carry your sunglass.
Trekking Pole/Trekking Shoe:
Trekking pole supports you to hold your body when you are on the way up or down. You may not well train about how to use please learn with your guide. Trekking shoe must be strong enough and comfortable.
In some trekking, routes they don’t sell mineral water bottle propose of keep environment clean so you have to fill up your own water bottle. Please do not forget carry your water bottle.
Photos and video can be the good memory for a long time so do not forget your Camera/video camera to make wonderful photos and videos.
